By Yoda These boots are better looking in the flesh, as they do look kinda cheap in the picture. The leather does have a slight sheen which I don't like, but this will disappear once worn a few times. They give great ankle support, and are pretty comfortable straight out the box. I normally take a 9.5, but the 9 was a better fit for me, with room to spare for thicker socks. Overall I'm pretty happy with this boot at this price point.
