In a day of rock/country, it is nice to be able to play a Chris LeDoux cd and not have your ears hurt. Chris is to country what Elvis was to rock.

This album is one of the best country/western albums I have come across. Chris Ledoux stays close to the country music style with a cowboy attitude and lyrics, with the perfict voice for the songs he sings.

The best of Chris LeDoux has twelve great songs. I didn't know that until after I bought it. I bought the cd because of one song, This Cowboy's Hat. I didn't know what to expect from the other tracks. I found out there were a few others I liked, Cadillac Ranch and the duet with Garth Brooks, Whatcha Gonna Do With A Cowboy. After listening to the cd a few more times, I realized that every track was good, such as County Fair, Workin' Man's Dollar, and Hooked on an 8 Second Ride. Chris LeDoux is a verteran of country music and this cd contains a lot of his hits.

i've had this cd for a long time and it is a great country music cd to own.my prayers go out to all of his family,fans, and friends.long live the legacy of chris ledoux.amen.

the songs are great, his voice is rustic and very authentic which seems to be a rarity these days in country.
