Great blanket, very realistic Dec 15, 2010

For anyone that has a real Rambo horse blanket, you will appreciate how realistic this is. Surcingles are not velcro like other Breyer blankets. This blanket matches the one my daughter's real pony has in every detail...something she certainly pointed out. Since it is so realistic, she loves it all the more and it brings the barn into her room with her Breyers. Fits traditional series well, including the larger draft horse models. I am buying another one this year to add to her collection.

The description I read on Amazon regarding this particular item was that it was purple. The picture does not depict that at all but when I ordered, I kept in mind that it was indeed a purple blanket and not greenish. I was, in fact, disappointed that it was purportedly purple so I was very happy to see for myself that it is indeed not purple but greenish as it looks in the picture. :) It looks EXACTLY as it does in the picture. I don't know how well it holds up or ease of use or anything yet as it is a gift for Christmas. So if I hear how it performs I will update my review. Very pleased with this item so far, though.

I love this blanket!! It looks excatly like real Rambo blankets. Alothough I was a little disapointed.... I went to try it on my breyers and it BARELY fits them. The only horse it "really" fits of my collection is Trait Du Nord. It will hardly fit Pokerjoe and definatly not Theodore O'Conner! It's very durable and kinda stretchy. I would recommend getting this for larger traditional breyers.
