5The Greatest "Greatest Hits"  Jan 18, 2001 By Keith Gearlds
It's a shame we can only give a great album five stars because Clay Walker's "Greatest Hits" deserves about 5....thousand! I bought this album quite a few years ago, but I have never had the opportunity to express my opinion regarding it...until now. In my opinion, there is no singer who can put the emotion into a song like Clay can. He can sing the slowest, most beautiful love song like "Watch This" or he can turn it up a few notches with an ubeat toe tapper like "If I Could Make A Living." My personal favorite, "Rumor Has It," is a track that any music lover would wear out in a matter of weeks. His two new songs, including his Top 5 hit "You're Beginning To Get To Me" are great additions to the CD. He's got it all from his first, "What's It To You" to his most current when this CD was released in 1998 with the Jimmy Buffet sounding "Then What." It's been about 3 years since this album was released, and I've yet to hear a better CD. So, if you wanna play a beautiful song for your loved one like "Hypnotize the Moon" or express your love in a more "fun" fashion with "Only On Days That End In Y," then you HAVE to buy Clay Walker's "Greatest Hits." I'm telling you, you won't be sorry.

5The best from country's best young male artist.  Jun 14, 1998 By James E. Bagley "Jim Bagley"
Since he emerged in 1993, Clay Walker has been a consistent force on the country charts. All 12 of his top 10 hits are here, along with two new tracks. From the uptempo gems like "What's It To You," "Rumor Has It," and "Live Until I Die" to the moving ballads such as "Hypnotize The Moon" and "Watch This" Walker can do it all. Especially noteworthy is "Then What," a cautionary tale of infidelity made light-hearted through its use of Caribbean rhythms. Clay Walker represents the best of young country and this Greatest Hits represents the best of Clay Walker.

5Finally, an album that really does contain "Greatest Hits"!  Feb 07, 2000 By Christina Sowder
I have over 500 CD's, none of which have a greatest hits collection such as this. Clay Walker is one of best country artist of my generation. He's got a sweet yet sexy smile. Clay continues traditional music values, along with adding a lot of variety and emotion to his songs. When I first heard "What's it to you", I was hooked. I have beed addicted to his music ever since. There's just something about his music that makes you move in your seat. There's no way to say which song is the best. Trust me, if you try this album, you'll love it! I didn't like country music until I heard him. Now, that's all I buy!

5Country's Brightest Star Strikes Again!  Jul 01, 1998
If you enjoy country music, this is the C.D. for you. Clay Walker is clearly country music's most underrated and under-awarded artist and this collection of hits is sure to bring a smile to even the most cynical of faces. The two new songs ("You're Beginning to Get to Me" and "Ordinary People") are excellent showpieces of Clay's broad range of talent and the other "hits" on the CD speak for themselves. Whether you prefer the calypso style of "Then What" or the pop-rock style of "Dreamin' with My Eyes Wide Open," you're sure to want to hear this CD over and over again. AND DON'T FORGET TO CHECK OUT "CLAY WALKER'S VIDEO HITS" FOR THE GREAT VIDEOS THAT ACCOMPANY THESE HITS!

5A Great "Greatest Hits" Album  Jan 07, 2000 By Mark
Clay is very generous with this disc. He included all of his best hits, unlike so many other artists who omit their best hits. Two new songs here are top notch. "You're Beginnig To Get To Me" and "Ordinary People" are a great addition to a great album. If you don't have any Clay Walker music, I highly recommend this fantastic CD. You won't find a better Greatest Hits album anywhere.
