5Great Acoustic/Electric for the $$$  Dec 26, 2009 By Dave G
For a buget of under $300 it is the best looking and sounding accoustic/electric. I found this one after looking in several stores. I will be going back to the store owner for the case (which he neglected to tell me comes with it!).

5great guitar  Jun 27, 2011 By tommy4toes
I have been playing guitar for 35 years+ have had mostly Martins. Then found Takamine and Jasmine. Bought this one recently. WOW! for the money, you just can't beat it. The neck is great, action also. I love the natural finish. I also have a Takamine cut away as well. You just cannot go wrong on these lines of guitars. I would recommend these guitars to everyone, and the saved $$$$$$ WOW!!!! thanks !!!!!!

5Jasmine Acoustic Electric ES33C with Hard Case  Jul 28, 2010 By Tom
Very nice beginner/intermediate guitar with a great tone. It stays in tune longer than my other guitar. It has a spruce top and pretty Lacewood wood on the sides and bottom. Only plugged it into an amp once so far and it sounds good. The hard case is solid and I would not be afraid to check it on an airplane. The action is a bit high but is easily adjusted. I learned how easy it is to take the saddle out and sand the bottom (so the radius stays the same). I really like this guitar. It is a great value for the low price.

4Takamine Jasmine ES33C Acoustic Electric Guitar Pack  Jun 19, 2011 By Cheesemaker "CheeseForum org"
I know nothing about guitars, bought this Pack (Guitar & Case) from Amazon in June 2011, today Father's Day I will start to learn guitar!

When I ordered it there was only 1 picture of the guitar and minimal reviews with almost no info on the case. Thus to aid other potential buyers, I've posted several pics of the case and guitar, missing in pictures is the tag saying "this instrument is strung with D'Addario".

Initial impressions are:
1) Guitar is beautifully made, no blemishes or marks, no burrs on the frets, action is minimal, sides & back wood is beautiful, pre-amp as per picture, mic jack is combined with strap connection at bottom end of guitar.
2) Case is heavy duty, weighed on bathroom scales at 8 pounds, outside black material is same as highschool kids instruments, inside is plush material, like very fuzzy dice, not visible in picture in middle of case lid above frets is extra bit of soft foam padding behind the plush, no idea what structural material is, inside compartment for storage, large silver buttons on bottom to keep the plastic from marking, 4 silver buttons on end so it will stand alone vertically without support, handle is heavy duty plastic but handle's silver connections to case are light weight, strong enough for case and guitar but not for heavier objects, hinges are OK, not heavy duty. I would use as luggage on plane but I don't think it would stand a heavy suitcase being dropped on it then again at this price I was not expecting a fiberglass case.

My case has a small tear in plastic cover, probably from shipping, great package for the $'s, hope this helps others with their decision!

5Nice Tone  Oct 13, 2011 By Cynthia A. Thornton
This is a beautiful dreadnought style guitar! I really love starting out on it! It's an inexpensive guitar that I'm not ashamed to take anywhere. It's beautiful.
