I can not believe how quickly I received this VHS! I would recommend this seller to anyone especially if they are in a hurry. Also, the tape and cover were in excellant condition! Once again, I am able to listen to my "Live By the Bay"

 Laziness to release this on DVD speaks volumes Aug 24, 2007
That Jimmy is slow and uninterested in releasing this on DVD (as well as Tales from Margaritaville) says a lot about how little he cares about his fans. In fact, most of his earlier albums greatly need remastering, and although he earns millions of dollars a year, he doesn't bother to do anything about this. It's a shame that most fans don't see this, and Jimmy doesn't either. Blind worship?
As far as the concert goes, it's fairly good. It does suffer some though from the time period (fluff songs like If the Phone Doesn't Ring It's Me, etc) and low lighting.

The Best Live Performance caught on video! DVD this NOW Nov 22, 2006
I have seen Buffett so many times and have most of his CD's and this concert on video is the ONE he should digitally re-master and put on DVD. The performance was great and the venue was true party in paradise (Miami) right by the water. Babes, Boats and Booze; Buffett, my man! give us what we want not what Buffett, Inc thinks we want! Put this on DVD.

Live in New Orleans VHS. Middle of
the Night is good song, even with
Aaron Neville maoning like he wants
to crawl back up into his Mama and
be 'born again', the hard way. Con-
sider that a moment of weekness for
Jimmy, or a payback since the Neville's
sang on his 'Hot Water' LP. About the
earrings Jimmy, 'no dice'....

This is the best Jimmy Buffett live performance recording available. Fortunately, this one is on video. It definitely picks you up and transports you to south Florida. We need an official DVD release.
