What a show! Jun 19, 2003
By Nuno M. Ferreira This video recorded in Knoxville, TN, on 1993, shows George Jones in big shape, great sense of humour and a entusiastic audience sheering classics like "He stoped loving her today" or "The race is on". The sound and image doesn't have the quality of recent DVD's but who cares when you can have the great George Jones singing for you at home? Long Life to Possum! There's a british version of this DVD that includes a documentary about his life and...troubles.

George Jones Live In Tennessee Rocks !!!!!!!!!! Nov 04, 2003 I just got a dvd player and this was the 1st dvd played. This guy is AWESOME !!! I'm just sorry it wasn't a little longer. There is nothing bad AT ALL on this dvd. If you like George Jones, you will NOT be disappointed with this dvd. It's a newer concert, and he is better than ever !!!!!

A must have for and Country Music fan..... Aug 05, 2006

This is it folks, a must have for a C&W fan. The Possum sings all of his big hits on this one with his voice as smoothe and crisp as ever. The sound quality is excellent except for the over dubbing of crowd applause that is more than occaisionally annoying. The only other flaw is the poor quality stage lighting makes a complete mess of the color production. The Possums Jones boys led by the ever faithfull to GJ, Ron Gaddis is tighter than ever on this one. I notice Mel Tillis' lead guitarist helping out here and a fiddle player from N.C. that is without question the finest that I have ever seen. Combined with the finest players in the land and the finest C&W ballad singer in the land, this is Country at its best. I will share many enjoyable hours with my friends enjoying this one.

George Jones at his best! Jul 07, 1999 For those of you who haven't been to one of George's concerts yet, here is an excellent sample of what's in store. The only objectional point in this video is the intrusion of the "guest artists" at the end. If it were up to me, it would be strictly George and the Jones Boys featured on this video. Still, it's great, no matter what!

Good concert but have some complaints May 09, 2010

I enjoyed watching the concert but the loud audience in the background detracted from the overall concert. I have several recorded concerts but this is the only one where the loud audience became annoying. The person in charge of the sound could have done a better job.
