Nice sound, some limited function that went unexplained on the ad Dec 01, 2011
By Handsome Johnny Beautiful guitar which has elicited many kudos. Nice sound that reflects whatever strings are placed on the guitar. Five stars for both of those qualities. Lower score for not containing one strap button (meaning either you have to drill into the hardware or buy a different strap for such guitar setups.) Guitar was set up nicely out of the box, though. Sounds great, and the tuner is still working, which is key. Electronics currently work, which is nice. We'll see how long it lasts, though. 3 Stars. Would buy again, but would prefer proper strapping. Also, beware - the center hole is smaller, and, therefore, you will damage your guitar by placing a rubber stopper in it for amplified use. I tried to place one inside the hole, and heard a slight implication of "cracking" and therefore stopped attempting to fit it in. No visible damage, though, but I had to buy a "special fit" from "Lute Hole" for over $50. Their prices for noise blockers are ridiculous (a matching one would have set me back over $100, so I went with an unmatching item and repainted it), but I haven't seen any others that custom fit. Not great.
Beautiful guitar poor factory setup Feb 09, 2012
By Mike I purchased this guitar recently and while the guitar is beautiful the factory setup was very poor. I took it to a luthier in town who adjusted the neck, leveled the frets and lowered the bridge and now it plays like a Takamine should play. It sounds great through my amp and has a nice tone unplugged. For the price i paid for this guitar even with the $50 to have it setup it was a good deal and i am now very happy i bought this.

Great experience. Dec 19, 2011
By Ramon We've purchased two guitars from this vendor and have had a good experience both times. When buying more guitars we'll use them again.
