By ChaoticDayZ This is the most beautiful crafted and sounding guitar i have ever had the pleasure of owning. It was love at first sight and strum.Great on board tuner and equalizer at your finger tips. As i think you can tell by now I am in love with this instrument, and plan many years of playing to come.I can't even sleep tonight im so amped up over buying it.Please check it out in person. If you appreciate quality all the way .I think you will feel the same way.
Thank You Takamine ChaoticDayZ
Sweet Guitar Nov 28, 2011
By Alfred C. Eilersen I'v been playing guitar close to 50 years. During that time, I've owned some very cheap (Marco Polo??, Kent, Silvertone) and very expensive (Martin, Taylor, Maton) guitars. I've always wanted a Takamine and, after reading a few reviews (and checking my budget), I purchased this EG363SC.
At first I thought there was something wrong with it because I couldn't feel the strings when I pressed them onto the fretboard. The action is that good!! I was making plans to take it in for a setup, but I honestly don't see the need! The tone is different than the Maton, Martin and Taylor - not better or worse - different in a good sense. It is brighter than the Maton, yet full. Not as powerful as the Martin, yet exciting. Not as warm as the Taylor, yet comforting.
This is perhaps the finest instrument I've ever owned. I had pretty much retired from playing until I bought this guitar. I have since cut a complete CD and am two tunes into another (I just purchased it 2 months ago!).
Yep - I love it!
