Dreadnought Guitars: A Taylor Tradition the Taylor 210e Continues Bob Taylor launched his career crafting Dreadnoughts and Jumbos, working with shapes he inherited from Sam Radding, the owner of the American Dream guitar shop, where he and Taylor co-founder Kurt Listug got their start. "Our dreadnought early on was pretty boxy, and the Jumbo was kind of a big square thing, too--kind of the American Dream take on the J200 or the big Guild stuff, back in the '70s," Bob recalls.
In 2003, the dreadnought underwent a major revoicing to give it a more competitive identity among flatpickers. A cannon, it boasted 50 percent more volume and a stronger bass response, and yielded a potent growl when players dug in without upsetting Taylor's sonic balance.
The Taylor Dreadnought delivers a vintage dreadnought sound for the 21st Century.

By Saulpreciado I was kinda unsure about buying this online because i usually like playing a guitar before buying it. I have played one at a Guitar center so i figured hey, go for it. It came and it was perfectly tuned there was not a single problem with it. Ive had it for about a month and its great, Totally worth the 800 dollars i spent.
Taylor wins them all Oct 22, 2010
By Wes It is TAYLOR. So nearly nothing left to say. I am a beginner with experience of no more than 5 guitars. At first I am afraid of the rumor that Taylor has high action. After try it myself in a store, what they say is a little exaggerated. the only catch is that 210e is a dreadnought type, so the treble is not as bright as you think. need some work on electric part if you want the brightness of treble. Better to choose a cutaway guitar at this point, however 1-2 hundred more bucks need to place. gorgeous for both un-plugged and plugged-in. i feel like i could even be down on my knees for this baby when it goes in my arms.
