Better Late Than Never! Dec 02, 1999
By Shirley Smith After being a Toby Keith fan for sometime, I just purchased this CD this year. I was more than pleasantly surprised at the great variety of this platinum record! Toby's style of writing and presentation has obviously been A-1 from the beginning. We are all familiar with the hits that got him going such as "Should've Been A Cowboy", "He Ain't Worth Missing", "Wish I Didn't Know Now" and "A Little Less Talk..."! I still love his style of rockin' which is evident in "Valentine" a song that keeps running through your head long after the fact. His voice is strong and clear especially in one of my favorites "It Ain't No Thang". For any TK fans that have missed out on this one, get it now--it is a great combo in your CD player as random spin with the newest CD "How Do You Like Me Now" and "Blue Moon"!

Great Debut From Toby. Mar 30, 2001 This Album Was Released Back In 1993. It Also Contains The Hits Like His First #1 "Should Have Been A Cowboy" Which Is One Of My Favorites On Here, "He Ain't Worth Missing", "A Little Less Talk And A Lot More Action", And "Wish I Didn't Know Now." All Of Those Songs Are Really Great Songs To Listen To. They Are Also On The Greatest Hits Volume 1 Album.

Great Album Sep 19, 2005
By nineteen I guess you're in the love it or hate it camp on this one but I LOVE this cd. Toby Keith has an awesome voice and mixed in tongue-in-cheek humor with ballads.
He's not the cookie cutter country singer but a songwriter who sings and writes from the heart. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes angry. He's still going strong after 10 yrs in the biz (an eternity in the entertainment world) and has lots more to offer.
good Nov 01, 2011
By C. LAGALO One of Toby Keith's older cds, but it is how he got started. I am a true fan. It is one of the collection.
